Piano Fairy Tales

Do your little learners also not enjoy playing compositions with nondescript names like “Allegro” or “Sonatina”?
Are you looking for completely new repertoire that neither your children, students, nor your colleagues know?
Do you desire an original gift for your little pianists?

It has been more than two years now, since Cinderella “came dancing” to me on a hot summer’s day. The Spooks joined in later, the Magic Harp resounded … and now I have a complete collection of ten piano compositions on fairy tale themes ready for you and your children and students.

I present to you a collection of piano compositions

(THE) PIANO FAIRY TALES

As a I child, I always wondered, why composers give such boring names as “Allegro” or “Prelude” to their music. I can also remember very well the difficulties, with which I struggled through new scores.

I have therefore created this collection of compositions with 10 fairy tale motives that any little pianist will surely find it easy to choose from.

WHAT CAN YOU LOOK FORWARD TO:

  1. Cinderella’s Dance
  2. Spooks
  3. In the Wild Roses
  4. Dragon’s Cave
  5. The Magic Harp
  6. The Enchanted Wood
  7. The Dance of the Fairy
  8. The Princess and the Knight
  9. The Secret Door
  10. Witches‘ Whirl

At the moment, when the payment from you arrives, you will promptly receive an email with a link, from which to download the collection. In order to open the PDF format, you need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader programme installed on your computer (available for free download).

3) What if I find out that the Piano Fairy Tales are not the right thing for me?

If you find out that the purchase of the collection was a step in a wrong direction, you can use the money back guarantee within 14 days and I will return your money back to you without any unnecessary questions.

WHAT HAVE PIANO TEACHERS SAID ABOUT THE COLLECTION:

„I have been very curious to see the Piano Fairy Tales for some time. I have known Zdenička for very long and I know that she does everything fully, with maximum care, and will not let anything out into the world unless she is convinced that it is entirely perfect. When I finally received the scores and was able to play all ten piano fairy tales, my high expectations were not only met but really exceeded. Perfect notation, large notes easy for children to read, carefully refined pedalling as well as fingering, and ten original and musically immensely rich musical compositions with attractive fairy tale names. The musical content of each composition corresponds perfectly to the chosen names. In the collection, you can find shorter instructive compositions, as well as longer pieces that will make a good impression on stage in competitions. The musical process is completed with matching illustrations, bravo indeed. I cannot wait to assign these compositions to my students.“

„I have known Zdenička for several years already, but I had no idea she composes music. I was truly surprised, when I found out about the Piano Fairy Tales and could not wait to play them. It is a collection of ten piano miniatures, which are intended for beginners as well as for more advanced students. The names of the compositions suggest their nature and encourage the children’s imagination, which helps us when working with the tone, the dynamics, the agogic … A clear formal structure and harmonic language enable children to orient themselves better when reading new musical material. The carefully written fingering, pedalling and dynamics make work easier for piano teachers. I know from experience how difficult it is to choose suitable compositions for students, especially for beginners. We look for new compositions, which the children will enjoy, with notation that will not put them off but will make them progress in terms of interpretation as well as piano skills. You can find all of the above in the Piano Fairy Tales by Zdeňka Švehláková. I am very much looking forward to further compositions.“
