I was born into a musical family in Kromeriz, Czech Republic. It is no wonder that I started playing the piano at an early age – all children of musicians have to! 🙂 However, I loved it so much that when choosing my high school, it seemed an obvious choice to study piano performance at a conservatory in our town. Although Kromeriz is really a very beautiful place to live, I was obsessed with the idea of studying music at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. When the dream came true at last, I changed into a „never-stop-practicing geek“, until I got a bachelor’s and then a master’s degree in piano performance. Since I so much enjoyed studying at the Academy, I decided to stay and I achieved a second degree – in music production. It has often proved very helpful in my life to know more about how to live on as a musician than just how to be a musician.

In addition, I gained a valuable experience studying at the University of Music Karlsruhe, Germany, for one semester and I spent a great summer teaching music at a music camp Apple Farm, USA.

Currently, I live in Prague where I work as a piano teacher at a music school and I am also the head of a small private piano school for piano lovers of all ages.

I still love playing the piano, which is why I decided to create this website as well as some pieces by myself. Just for my pleasure and for that great possibility to share it with you. I hope you will like it.
